Update:<\/b> As expected, Tyler Farr’s “Whiskey in My Water” overtook Chris Young’s “Who I Am With You” to rank as country radio’s most-played song<\/a> for the seven days ending July 12. It will almost certainly retain that spot when Mediabase issues its official weekly update Sunday night.<\/em>

Another week, another changing of the guard at country radio.<\/p>\n

After a week of living in the shadow of Jake Owen’s “Beachin’,” Chris Young’s “Who I Am With You” finally becomes what it long wanted to be: a number one single at country radio.<\/p>\n

According to the latest Mediabase rolling aiprlay chart, the song, which received 7,273 spins at the format, was country radio’s most-played song over the seven days ending July 11.<\/p>\n

With 55.21 million impressions, its country radio audience ranks second to the aforementioned “Beachin'” (55.29 million).<\/p>\n

Despite rising to #1 on the rolling chart, Young’s song might encounter trouble landing the top position on Mediabase’s published chart.<\/p>\n
