Constantly subject to favorable updates on Mediabase’s pop airplay chart, Charli XCX’s breakthrough solo single “Boom Clap” is also making waves on the all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100.<\/p>\n
After rising to a peak of #25 last week, the song, which is featured on the soundtrack to “The Fault in Our Stars,” surges to #20 on this week’s edition of the chart.<\/p>\n
Thanks to reasonably steady sales and rapidly growing airplay, “Boom Clap” is destined go higher on the chart in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n
“Boom Clap” is the singer-songwriter’s first solo listing on the Hot 100. She previously charted as a featured performer on Icona Pop’s “I Love It,” which peaked at #7, and on Iggy Azalea’s current #1 “Fancy.”<\/p>\n
