One was supposedly dismissed from “Glee” due to personal reasons. Another was allegedly beating the media to the punch with news that she was pregnant.<\/p>\n
But after apparently suffering from the work of a Twitter hacker, “Glee” stars Chris Colfer and Lea Michele are both in good spirits.<\/p>\n
“Apparently I missed quite the INTERESTING day while aboard my flight. I’m just glad I wasn’t “killed by a fruit truck” again,” Tweeted Colfer late Thursday night.<\/p>\n
Earlier that day, his account briefly featured the Tweet, “Due to personal issues, I have been let go from the cast of GLEE.” 20th Century Fox TV attributed the erroneous Tweet to a hacker.<\/p>\n
Co-star Lea Michele allegedly also fell victim to a hacker. Friday morning, her account featured the message, “Before this gets out to the media, I would like to announce to my fans that I am pregnant #BabyBoy.”<\/p>\n
The false Tweet was quickly deleted, and the actress later and playfully responded, “I was HACKED! Guess @chriscolfer and I should have known better then [sic] to make our passwords the names of our cats:).”<\/p>\n
Even though the Michele Tweet came a day after the false Chris Colfer post, numerous media outlets still reported the pregnancy story as if it were legitimate.
