Disclosure’s international smash “Latch,” which features vocals from the red-hot Sam Smith, has officially reached the top ten of Mediabase’s rolling Top 40 airplay chart. Sam Smith, whose solo smash “Stay With Me” is due to soon enter the Top 10, was also featured on Naughty Boy’s top ten hit “La La La.”<\/p>\n
With 9,118 spins pop radio spins, “Latch” was the format’s 10th-most-played song for the seven days ending June 22.<\/p>\n
With 64.31 million impressions, it garnered the format’s eighth-largest audience.<\/p>\n
Still rising, it will quickly pass Rixton’s declining “Me and My Broken Heart” for ninth place on the chart. It should also be able to overtake Katy Perry’s #8 “Birthday” and DJ Snake & Lil Jon’s #7 “Turn Down for What.” While the former is currently at a standstill on the radio, the latter is rapidly falling.<\/p>\n
