Reports indicate that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon did not take too well to the suggestion.<\/p>\n<p>According to sources aware of the meeting, McMahon apparently &#8220;lit the guy up&#8221; about the suggestion, noting that it was &#8220;foolishly short-sighted.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/view.picapp.com\/default.aspx?term=john cena&#038;iid=4387505\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/cdn.picapp.com\/ftp\/Images\/0\/5\/e\/8\/PicImg_Nickelodeons_2009_Kids_e4a2.jpg?adImageId=1162141&#038;imageId=4387505\" width=\"320\" height=\"467\"  border=\"0\" alt=\"Nickelodeons 2009 Kids Choice Awards  - Arrivals\"\/><\/a><script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"http:\/\/cdn.pis.picapp.com\/IamProd\/PicAppPIS\/JavaScript\/PisV4.js\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Much of the creative staff reportedly agreed with McMahon, believing that Cena&#8217;s merchandise sales as a babyface are too strong to risk for the short-term benefits of a heel turn.
