Country radio’s reception to “Somethin’ Bad” continues to be anything but.<\/p>\n
According to Mediabase, the duet from Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood landed at another 61 country stations to rank as the week’s most-added song. The adds will surely help the song, which is already country’s 31st-most-played track, accelerate up one of the most important charts in radio.<\/p>\n
New releases from Rascal Flatts and Sam Hunt followed with healthy add counts of their own. The Flatts’ new “Payback” placed second for the week with 53 adds, while Hunt’s “Leave the Night On” was good for 52.<\/p>\n
Hunter Hayes’ newly impacting “Tattoo” followed with a decent but unspectacular 30 adds. Little Big Town’s recently released “Day Drinking” scored the same number of pickups.<\/p>\n
Other notable performers included Cassadee Pope’s enduring “I Wish I Could Break Your Heart” (20 adds, #6), Keith Urban’s “Somewhere in My Car” (14 early adds, #7), Eric Church’s “Cold Ones” (13 adds, #8), Jana Kramer’s “Love” (11 adds, #9), Lady Antebellum’s “Bartender” (11 adds, #9) and Parmalee’s “Don’t Close Your Eyes” (11 adds, #9).<\/p>\n
