The four band members might not be “Cool Kids,” but in the eyes of a healthy selection of radio programmers, they definitely fit in.<\/p>\n
Echosmith’s “Cool Kids,” one of three tracks to officially impact Top 40 radio this week, landed at an impressive seventeen stations.<\/p>\n
According to Mediabase, the tune ranked as the week’s seventh-most-added song at monitored Top 40 stations and eighth-most-added among all reporters.<\/p>\n
It made the biggest impact among new releases.<\/p>\n
Avicii’s new single “Addicted to You (featuring Audra Mae)” followed with pickups at fifteen pop radio stations. While slightly less successful this week, “Addicted to You” had scored more advance adds than the Echosmith song. It also made mild splashes at Hot Adult Contemporary and Rhythmic radio, where it scored 9 and 5 adds, respectively, this week.<\/p>\n
Echosmith’s “Cool Kids,” meanwhile, picked up an additional alternative station to complement its healthy debut at pop.<\/p>\n
Glenn Morrison’s “Goodbye (featuring Islove),” the third of the week’s newly impacting tracks, arrived at seven pop radio stations.<\/p>\n
Stations that added “Cool Kids” included Radio Disney, Las Vegas’ 104.3 NOW, Dallas’ 106.1 KISS, Palm Springs’ KRCK 97-7, Bakersfield’s Kelly 95.3, Salt Lake City’s Mix 107.9, Canton’s Q92, Chattanooga’s Hits 96, Albany’s Fly92.3, Columbus’ WNCI 97.9, Peoria’s 98.5 KISS, Grand Rapids’ 104.5 WSNX, Orlando’s XL106.7, Daytona’s 103.3 The Vibe, Burlington’s 95 Triple X, Rio Grande Valley’s 107.9 Mix FM and Willsboro’s Planet 96.7.<\/p>\n
“Addicted to You” landed at Portland’s Live 95.5, Santa Cruz’ 101.7 The Beach, Oklahoma City’s KJ103, San Diego’s 933, Forestville’s Y100.9, Portland’s Z100, San Antonio’s 94.1 KTFM, Spokane’s Now 105.7, Salt Lake’s 97.1 KHT, Atlantic City’s 95.1, Ocean Acres’ B98.5, Canton’s Q92, Grand Rapids’ 104.5 WSNX, Utica’s KISS and Richmond’s 103.7.<\/p>\n
