Update:<\/b> A third contestant has positioned herself to win an iTunes bonus.<\/p>\n

Kristen Merlin, that contestant, entered the top ten with “Foolish Games.” Currently #9, the song joins Jake Worthington’s “Heaven” (#4) and Josh Kaufman’s “All of Me” (#7) in the group set to receive a 5x multiplier on its iTunes “vote.”<\/p>\n

No song by Christina Grimmie and Kat Perkins will reach the top ten this week.<\/em>
\n========<\/p>\n

It took roughly three hours for two “The Voice” semifinalists to enter the top ten on iTunes Overall Single Sales chart.<\/p>\n

And one achieved the feat for the first time this season.<\/p>\n

Jake Worthington, that contestant, debuts in the iTunes Top 10 courtesy his emotional cover of Bryan Adams’ “Heaven.” Already #9, the recording is a virtual lock to remain in the Top 10 when the voting closes at 12PM ET. As long as it does, it will be subject to a 5x vote multiplier.<\/p>\n

The second contestant poised to receive an iTunes bonus has become a regular in the upper reaches of the iTunes chart. For the third time in four finals opportunities this season, Josh Kaufman has advanced into the iTunes Top 10.<\/p>\n

His latest entry is “All of Me,” which reached #10 at about 1AM ET. As long as it holds in the top ten, and it almost surely will, it, too, will be subject to the iTunes multiplier.<\/p>\n

Other recordings are also working their way towards such a bonus. The closest thus far is Kristen Merlin’s “Foolish Games,” which is currently positioned at #14 on the chart. Jake Worthington’s other number “Good Ol’ Boys” and Josh Kaufman’s second pick “Love Runs Out” follow at #21 and #22.<\/p>\n

A bonus recipient in each of the past two weeks, Christina Grimmie first checks in this week at #35 with “Hide and Seek.” Grimmie’s tunes tend to make late runs, however, so she will likely pull far closer to the top ten in the coming hours.<\/p>\n

“Some Nights,” her other performance, follows at #50.<\/p>\n
