Adhering to a format projected by many analysts, FOX issued its 2014-15 schedule in a press release Monday morning.<\/p>\n
Highlights include confirmation that “Batman” prequel “Gotham,” which is arguably the most aggressively hyped drama pilot this season, will air in the expected Monday at 8PM timeslot. FOX’s returning “Sleepy Hollow” will follow in its pre-established 9PM timeslot.<\/p>\n
FOX comedies “New Girl” and “The Mindy Project” will remain on Tuesday, but they will be supported by new series “Utopia” rather than “Glee.” “Glee” begins its final chapter at midseason.<\/p>\n
Absent “X Factor” for the first time since 2011, FOX will stock Wednesdays with “Hell’s Kitchen” at 8PM and new series “Red Band Society” at 9PM.<\/p>\n
The “X Factor” cancellation also leaves a vacancy on Thursday nights. FOX will book old reliable “Bones” in the 8PM hour, while “Broadchurch” remake “Gracepoint” gets a crack at 9PM.<\/p>\n
“Masterchef Junior” and a Friday edition of “Utopia” air on the last weeknight, while fall Saturdays are reserved for College Football.<\/p>\n
