A smash hit with critics, the season four premiere of FX’s “Louie” managed to deliver satisfying ratings Monday.<\/p>\n
According to FX, Monday’s two new “Louie” episodes attracted an average audience of 925,500 viewers with 643,000 falling in the coveted adults 18-49 demographic. Both represented improvements from season three’s averages of 791,000 total viewers and 505,000 in adults 18-49.<\/p>\n
Consistent throughout the hour, “Louie” garnered a total of 941,000 viewers (with 635,000 adults 18-49 watchers) for its first episode and 910,000 (with 651,000 in adults 18-49) for the second.<\/p>\n
Because the season three “Louie” premiere aired on the same night as the network’s hotly-anticipated launch of “Anger Management,” FX feels a comparison between the two premieres “makes little sense.”<\/p>\n
