Labeled a “strong debut” by FX, Tuesday’s premiere of the ten-part “Fargo” miniseries garnered a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating with 2.65 million viewers.<\/p>\n
Indeed solid for the cable landscape, the premiere’s performance trails that of recent FX drama launches “The Americans” and “The Bridge.” The former opened to a 1.2 rating with 3.22 million viewers in January 2013. The latter kicked off its run with a 0.9 rating and 3.04 million viewers.<\/p>\n
With data from the two immediate encores included, the first “Fargo” episode reached 4.15 million viewers. 1.79 million fell in the coveted adults 18-49 demographic (amounting to a 1.4 rating).<\/p>\n
