The network, nonetheless, says the show performs powerfully on DVR.<\/p>\n<p>According to FX, the second season&#8217;s average episodic audience of 1.40 million increases to 3.08 million when seven days of DVR usage are included.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Americans continues be one of the best shows on television,\u201d said FX&#8217;s Eric Schrier.  \u201cExecutive Producers Joe Weisberg, Joel Fields and Graham Yost have done a wonderful job delivering two seasons, and the performances from Keri Russell, Matthew Rhys and Noah Emmerich are stellar.
