That help did not come.<\/p>\n
While Lohan’s guest turn likely played a minor role in compensating for the loss of the show’s “How I Met Your Mother” lead-in, it was not enough to attract a sizable audience. Per Nielsen’s Fast National Data, Monday’s edition of “2 Broke Girls” was one of the season’s weakest broadcasts.<\/p>\n
With a 2.3 adults 18-49 rating and a viewership average of 7.22 million viewers, Monday’s “2BG” narrowly bested the March 17 episode. Leading out of “How I Met Your Mother,” that 8:30PM broadcast drew a 2.2 with 7.21 million viewers.<\/p>\n
CBS is therefore 0-for-2 when it comes to stunt casting this April. It previously struck out last week when Ashton Kutcher’s fiancee and former “That ’70s Show” co-star Mila Kunis failed to ignite meaningful ratings growth for “Two and a Half Men.”<\/p>\n
CBS followed “2BG” with the time period premiere of “Friends With Better Lives.” The new ensemble drew a 1.8 with 5.69 million viewers.<\/p>\n
