Update:<\/b> Despite enduring a decline in the overnight metered market numbers, “Crisis” was the only of NBC’s Sunday programs to enjoy an improved adults 18-49 rating.<\/p>\n

After settling for a 1.0 rating last week, this week’s edition of “Crisis” managed a 1.1. Its decline to a viewership average of just 4.02 million viewers was, however, consistent with the drop in the overnight household number.<\/p>\n

“Believe” and “American Dream Builders,” which both enjoyed gains in the overnights (and correlative ones in total viewers), ended up holding steady in adults 18-49. “Dream Builders” posted a 0.7 with 3.09 million viewers while “Believe” garnered a 1.0 and 4.36 million total viewers.

Mild upticks rarely change a struggling show’s fortune, but they can serve as a temporary reprieve from the pain of bad news.<\/p>\n

If the adults 18-49 and total viewership numbers tell the same story as the overnight metered market numbers, NBC’s “Believe” will get to enjoy that temporary reprieve this week. After dipping to a series low 2.8 overnight household rating for last week’s episode, this week’s edition of the freshman NBC drama enjoyed an improved 3.1 overnight rating.<\/p>\n

The uptick did not, however, extend to fellow newcomer “Crisis.”<\/p>\n

“Crisis,” which leads out of “Believe,” slipped to a series low 2.7 overnight household rating.<\/p>\n
