Update:<\/b> Sans lead-in support from an original edition of “Arrow,” The CW’s new drama “The 100” slipped to a new series low Wednesday.<\/p>\n

This week’s episode, the show’s fourth, posted a 0.5 adults 18-49 rating with 1.69 million viewers. Last week’s broadcast, which was<\/i> boosted by a new “Arrow,” posted a 0.6 with 1.90 million viewers.<\/p>\n

Despite dropping once again–and delivering numbers considerably below those of the successful March 19 premiere–“The 100” still outperformed this week’s edition of fellow midseason launch “Star-Crossed.”<\/p>\n

Prior to Wednesday’s “100,” The CW aired a re-run of “Arrow.” It scored a 0.4 adults 18-49 rating with 1.18 million viewers.<\/em>
\n=======<\/p>\n

Delivering solid ratings with lead-in support from “Arrow” is one thing. Delivering those numbers without<\/i> support from one of The CW’s most reliable shows is something completely different.<\/p>\n

The adults 18-49 and total viewership numbers (available by noon) are required to determine if new drama “The 100” truly did that, but the overnight metered market report suggests that it at least avoided a major crash in the more difficult circumstance.<\/p>\n

Wednesday’s “The 100,” which aired without “Arrow” support for the first time this season, slipped by 0.1 to a 1.4 overnight household. It was the third consecutive decline for “The 100,” which premiered on March 19 as the network’s most-watched drama premiere in years.<\/p>\n

Last week’s 1.5 overnight rating translated into a 0.6 adults 18-49 rating with 1.9 million viewers.<\/p>\n
