Update:<\/b> Although the gain was not as significant as the overnight metered market numbers suggested, “Scandal” did attract an improved audience this week.<\/p>\n

According to fast Nielsen data, the episode, which revealed “who got shot,” scored a 2.9 adults 18-49 rating with 9.08 million viewers. Last week’s episode closed out with a 2.8 and 8.22 million viewers in the final Nielsen data.<\/p>\n

Earlier in the night, “Once Upon a Time in Wonderland” posted a dismal 0.8 with 3.51 million viewers. “Grey’s Anatomy” followed with an improved 2.4 rating and 8.09 million viewers.<\/em>
\n========<\/p>\n

Television viewers were very interested in learning “who got shot.”<\/p>\n

Thursday’s edition of ABC’s “Scandal,” which addressed last week’s murderous cliffhanger, enjoyed notable improvement in the overnight metered market ratings.<\/p>\n

Up 9% from last week’s number, the overnight household rating clocked in at a 6.8.<\/p>\n

Stronger than the rating posted by the previous two episodes and just slightly below that delivered by the midseason premiere, the 6.8 foretells–but does not guarantee–a solid showing in adults 18-49 and total viewers.<\/p>\n

Earlier in the night, ABC offered “Once Upon a Time in Wonderland” (2.5 overnight household rating) and “Grey’s Anatomy” (6.1 overnight household rating).<\/p>\n

A follow-up to last week’s “OMG moment,” Thursday’s “Scandal” revealed that new B613 Command Jake (Scott Foley) shot and killed James (Dan Bucatinsky).
