Update:<\/b> According to Nielsen’s fast national data, Thursday’s “Reign” posted a 0.6 adults 18-49 with 1.65 million viewers.<\/p>\n

Though down from last week’s strong 0.7, the number, on par with many “Reign” episodes, is impressive given that the episode aired out of a low-rated “Vampire Diaries” re-run (0.3, 1.13 million).<\/p>\n

Due to basketball pre-emptions, however, the rating and viewership totals could be subject to greater-than-usual adjustment in the Nielsen finals.<\/em>
\n=======<\/p>\n

The good news? The CW’s “Reign” did not completely fall from the face of the Earth in its first airing absent an original “The Vampire Diaries” lead-in.<\/p>\n

The bad news? The episode’s overnight rating did sink to a series low.<\/p>\n

Down 0.2 from last week’s airing, Thursday’s “Reign” posted a 1.1 overnight household rating. While there is no guarantee the show endured the same decline in the adults 18-49 rating, it seems unlikely this episode matched last week’s solid 0.7 adults 18-49 mark.<\/p>\n

CW’s “The Vampire Diaries” re-run, which led into “Reign,” posted a 0.7 rating. Last week’s original installment delivered a far more impressive 1.7.<\/p>\n
