NBC’s Winter Olympics coverage is over, but one of the breakout songs from the proceedings is still making an impact on iTunes.<\/p>\n

Lorde’s “Glory and Gore,” which has not been earmarked as an official single, ascended into the top twenty of iTunes’ Single Sales chart this week. At press time, the cut from her debut “Pure Heroine” remains in an impressive position at #21.<\/p>\n

In addition to the Olympics exposure, “Glory and Gore” also tracks the latest commercial for History Channel’s “Vikings.” The spot, which continues to air, received high-profile exposure during the Super Bowl.<\/p>\n

The song’s ascent is not, however, the most compelling story on the iTunes Single Sales chart. After an extended tenure in the top 20, Idina Menzel’s “Frozen” soundtrack song “Let it Go” has moved into the top ten. Currently number nine, the Oscar-nominated song will likely move even higher after this Sunday’s awards ceremony.<\/p>\n

Brantley Gilbert’s “Bottoms Up” continues to work its way up the chart; it is number fourteen.
