According to Hits Daily Double, the Glover album is tracking to move just 17-19,000 in its inaugural week.<\/p>\n
Lee DeWyze’s post-“Idol” debut “Live it Up,” which sold 39,000 in its inaugural week, holds the current low mark for an “Idol” winner’s first release.<\/p>\n
The victim of delays and minimal hype, Glover’s album did not stand a chance of resonating in the marketplace. That it was associated with season twelve of “American Idol,” the least buzzworthy one on record, did not help matters.<\/p>\n
