With the red-hot soundtrack to Disney’s “Frozen” still in the mix, Bruce Springsteen’s “High Hopes” for another number one album might go unfulfilled.<\/p>\n
The album will, however, reign as the week’s best-selling newcomer.<\/p>\n
According to Hits Daily Double, “High Hopes” is tracking to move 90-100,000 copies in its first week. The tally is down considerably from the 196,000 opening mark for 2012’s “Wrecking Ball,” but because the album is a collection of outtakes, covers and re-recorded material rather than originals, such a comparison is not apples-to-apples.<\/p>\n
Vying for second place among new releases will be “Kidz Bop 25” and Jennifer Nettles’ debut solo album “That Girl.” Current tracking favors the “Kidz Bop” album with a forecast of 55-60,000 compared to the 50-55,000 estimate for the Sugarland member’s release.<\/p>\n
