In addition to winning for Best Comedy or Musical Series, star Andy Samberg secured a trophy for Best Actor.<\/p>\n
Going into Tuesday’s new “Brooklyn,” there was certainly hope that Sunday’s recognition would translate into improved ratings. After all, wouldn’t some<\/i> of the more than 20 million Golden Globes viewers want to find out what created all the fuss?<\/p>\n
In short, no. Tuesday’s episode failed not simply in its quest to attract new viewers but even to retain all of last week’s adults 18-49 audience.<\/p>\n
The episode’s 1.4 adults 18-49 rating marked a 0.1 dip from last week’s performance. Viewership climbed slightly to 3.50 million.<\/p>\n
Dominating the Golden Globes ceremony was evidently not the show’s ticket to better ratings.
