Viewership for the hourlong premiere clocked in at 3.39 million.<\/p>\n<p>Season four kicked off with a 1.9 and 3.88 million viewers.<\/em><br \/>\n=========<\/p>\n<p>The number presently available is vastly separated from the realm of finality, but if it proves reasonably accurate, it will confirm that NBC&#8217;s &#8220;Community&#8221; opened its fifth season on a down note.<\/p>\n<p>The hourlong fifth season premiere reportedly delivered a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating in the top 25 markets with local people meters.<\/p>\n<p>Last season opened with a surprisingly solid 1.9 adults 18-49 rating and 3.88 million viewers.  The following week&#8217;s airing slipped to a mere 1.2 with 2.76 million.<\/p>\n<p>Because numbers from the Top 25 markets are both incomplete and specific in their skew, they are unlikely to be precisely mirrored in Nielsen&#8217;s final data.
