CBS has arranged a meeting with “How I Met Your Dad.”<\/p>\n
Entertainment Weekly reported Monday that The Eye has ordered a pilot for the rumored “How I Met Your Mother” spin-off. Reportedly connected to the original “How I Met” by the inclusion of MacLaren’s Pub, “Dad” is not expected to feature any characters from the current series.<\/p>\n
The pilot, which contrasts the original by having a woman tell her children the story of how she met their father, comes from Emily Spivey and “How I Met” creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas.<\/p>\n
“How I Met Your Mother,” now in its ninth season, wraps its run this May.<\/p>\n
*In other pilot news, Deadline reports that The CW has ordered a traditional pilot for its upcoming comic book series “The Flash.”<\/p>\n
The network was previously planning to launch the series, a loose spin-off from “Arrow,” with a backdoor pilot next spring.<\/p>\n
