According to Hits Daily Double’s sales data, Musgraves’ album, which first released back in March against Justin Timberlake’s “The 20\/20 Experience,” moved roughly 13,170 copies this week. Unranked by Hits last week, “Same Trailer Different Park” rode its improved tally to a Top 30 position on this week’s albums chart.<\/p>\n
It was not, however, the only album to benefit from exposure on the CMA Awards.<\/p>\n
Blake Shelton’s “Based on a True Story,” which won Album of the Year at the festivities, moved into the top twenty on the strength of about 18,520 units. The total represented a weekly gain of an impressive 141%.<\/p>\n
