It might still be ABC’s most buzzworthy drama–and the consistent victor in its timeslot–but ABC’s “Scandal” has definitely cooled off.<\/p>\n
After rising above the 3.0 adults 18-49 mark at the end of last season and then exceeding the 3.5 threshold in its season three premiere, “Scandal,” save for an isolated uptick for this year’s third episode, has considerably fallen.<\/p>\n
Thursday’s episode drew a 2.7 rating with 8.59 million viewers.<\/p>\n
Though both numbers represent significant gains from last season’s comparable sixth episode, which drew a 2.0 with 6.02 million viewers on November 15, they do not befit the juggernaut “Scandal” appeared it was on track to become.<\/p>\n
Compared to its surroundings, however, “Scandal” still performed well.
