A strategy for achieving monster Friday ratings has long eluded the networks, but NBC can at least claim it delivered solid ones for its drama premieres this week.<\/p>\n

Leading out of “Dateline” (1.3 adults 18-49 rating, 6.07 million viewers), “Grimm” kicked off its third season with a healthy 1.8 adults rating and 6.13 million. The performance, which attracted the series’ second-largest audience of all time, gave NBC its best demo rating in the timeslot since November 2, 2012.<\/p>\n

Compatible new series “Dracula” followed with 5.28 million viewers and its own 1.8 adults 18-49 rating. The timeslot’s victor in 18-49, it scored the best demo rating for a drama launch since “Grimm” kicked off with a 2.1 in 2011. Prior to that, CBS’ “Blue Bloods” held the crown with a 2.2 for its 2010 launch.<\/p>\n
