Update:<\/b> Thanks to a strong, relatively-steady performance, NBC’s hit new drama “The Blacklist” easily claimed victory in the 10PM hour.<\/p>\n

The James Spader vehicle delivered a 3.2 adults 18-49 rating with 11.3 million viewers. Down only 0.1 from last week’s final number (which removed the Monday Night Football inflation), “The Blacklist” justified its full season pickup.<\/p>\n

Earlier in the night, “The Voice” posted a 4.5 with 14.3 million viewers.<\/p>\n

CBS’ night was far rougher.<\/p>\n

“How I Met Your Mother,” its strongest Monday series, dipped to a modest 2.9 adults 18-49 rating with 7.4 million viewers. “We Are Men” fell from its disappointing premiere numbers to a mere 1.8 with 5.4 million, while “2 Broke Girls,” the show CBS hoped would be a major 9PM anchor, sank to a troubling 2.2 with just 7.2 million viewers.<\/p>\n

Heavily-hyped new 9:30PM entry “Mom” could only muster a 2.0 with 6.7 million, while disastrous limited series “Hostages” was only good for a 1.2 and 5.1 million.<\/em>

NBC executives can breathe a sigh of relief Tuesday. Ratings for “The Blacklist,” which the network picked up for a full season last week, again look strong.<\/p>\n

According to TV Media Insights, Monday’s episode, the show’s third, delivered a 7.3 overnight metered market rating. Down a mere 5% from the prior week’s number, the show again attracted a large audience and will certainly win its timeslot in adults 18-49.<\/p>\n

Whether the James Spader vehicle can hold up for the entirety of the season remains to be seen, but as of right now, it is succeeding in its post-“The Voice” timeslot.<\/p>\n

“The Voice” delivered a strong 8.9 rating from 8-10PM.<\/p>\n
