“2BG,” the comedy that once appeared poised to become a new CBS flagship, opened to a modest 2.8 adults 18-49 rating with 8.8 million viewers. Yes, it faced mammoth competition from “The Voice,” which drew a 5.3 rating in the 9-9:30PM timeslot, but it still failed to ignite interest befitting a CBS tentpole.<\/p>\n
Chuck Lorre’s new comedy “Mom,” meanwhile, performed even worse. It delivered a mere 2.5 adults 18-49 rating with 7.9 million, numbers that reflect passable rather than extraordinary.<\/p>\n
