{"id":19759,"date":"2013-09-24T09:41:08","date_gmt":"2013-09-24T13:41:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/headlineplanet.com\/home\/?p=19759"},"modified":"2013-09-24T11:28:13","modified_gmt":"2013-09-24T15:28:13","slug":"sleepy-hollow-ratings-hold-up-well-in-week-two","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/headlineplanet.com\/home\/2013\/09\/24\/sleepy-hollow-ratings-hold-up-well-in-week-two\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Sleepy Hollow&#8221; Ratings Hold Up Well In Week Two"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><b>Update:<\/b>  Even against newfound competition from &#8220;The Voice&#8221; (which garnered a whopping 5.4 adults 18-49 rating with 15.7 million viewers in the 9PM hour) and CBS&#8217; comedy lineup (&#8220;2 Broke Girls,&#8221; 2.8\/8.8M and &#8220;Mom,&#8221; 2.5\/7.9M), &#8220;Sleepy Hollow&#8221; held up considerably well in week two.<\/p>\n<p>Down only slightly from last week&#8217;s telecast, this week&#8217;s episode garnered a 3.1 rating with 8.6 million viewers).<\/em><br \/>\n===<\/p>\n<p>A drop was inevitable&#8211;and it could ultimately be nontrivial in the coveted adults 18-49 demographic&#8211;but given the lack of premiere curiosity buzz and the introduction of hefty new competition, FOX&#8217;s &#8220;Sleepy Hollow&#8221; held up very well in the ratings.<\/p>\n<p>According to TV Media Insights, the Headless Horseman-themed drama drew a 5.7 overnight metered market rating Monday.  Though down slightly from last week&#8217;s premiere number, the 7% drop is small potatoes given the increase in competition.  In addition to again vying against &#8220;Dancing with the Stars,&#8221; &#8220;Hollow&#8221; also faced the season premieres of &#8220;The Voice,&#8221; &#8220;2 Broke Girls&#8221; and &#8220;Moms.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Last week&#8217;s 6.1 overnight translated into a 3.5 adults 18-49 rating with more than 10 million viewers.
