The series premiere of “The Wanted Life,” centered on UK boy-band The Wanted, premiered to a paltry 0.3 adults 18-49 rating with 599,000 viewers Sunday.<\/p>\n
That performance–the second worst of all cable originals for the evening–came despite solid lead-in support from “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” which ranked near the top of the heap with a 1.6 rating and 3.017 million viewers.<\/p>\n
Despite focusing on an act with less US penetration and despite coming with weaker lead-in support (“Kourtney & Kim” vs. “Keeping Up With”), E!’s premiere of comparable series “Chasing the Saturdays” opened to a considerably-stronger 0.5 rating with 914,000 viewers this January.
