Different week, same iTunes frontrunners. After leading all “The Voice” contestants last week, top 8 participants Danielle Bradbery and Michelle Chamuel are once again leading the iTunes single sales race.<\/p>\n
Though multiple sources indicate she just missed out on the weekly iTunes multiplier bonus (neither NBC nor “The Voice” has officially commented), Danielle Bradbery has again landed in the top ten. In twelfth place at the close of the voting window, Bradbery’s “Grandpa” was number ten at press time, which yet again signals the commercial appeal of “The Voice”‘s teen country-pop standout.<\/p>\n
Chamuel’s well-received “Grenade,” meanwhile, reached number thirteen at the end of the voting window (and is still in that position). Just short of the iTunes bonus threshold, “Grenade” has nonetheless advanced more quickly than last week’s similarly-well-reviewed “Just Give Me a Reason.”<\/p>\n
Amber Carrington, who drew raves for her take on Adele’s “Skyfall,” presently sits at number 22 on the iTunes chart, while The Swon Brothers’ “Seven Bridges Road” has advanced to number 31.<\/p>\n
Sarah Simmons’ “Somebody That I Used to Know” follows at 43, while Holly Tucker’s “DONE” and Judith Hill’s “#thatPOWER” are at 51 and 68, respectively.<\/p>\n
