FOX became the second major network to reveal its 2013-14 schedule Monday, inserting news shows throughout the week but largely keeping its mainstays intact.<\/p>\n
That means its Sunday animated block will largely be unchanged (save for the elimination of “The Cleveland Show”), “The Following” will return to Monday nights (at midseason), “The X Factor” and “American Idol” will continue to occupy Wednesdays and Thursdays and “Glee” will stay put on Thursdays (it will again take a lengthy winter hiatus before returning for the final months of the season).<\/p>\n
One change, however, will come late fall when FOX introduces an hourlong comedy block to Fridays.\u00a0 Returning critical darling “Raising\u00a0 Hope” and new series “Enlisted” will occupy the 9PM hour, leading out of relocated “Bones” (which starts on Mondays to help launch “Sleepy Hollow” but then moves to Fridays as “Almost Human” steps in).<\/p>\n

MURDER POLICE is a new animated comedy series that expands the boundaries of the cop show genre as only animation can. From David A. Goodman (FAMILY GUY) and rising writer\/animator\/performer Jason Ruiz, the series follows a dedicated, but inept detective and his colleagues \u2013 some perverted, some corrupt, some just plain lazy \u2013 in a twisted city precinct. At the center of this maelstrom is MANUEL SANCHEZ (Ruiz), a neurotic and nerdy cop who aspires to be a good policeman, but his efforts to solve crimes are constantly put in jeopardy by his own clumsiness and the incompetence of his fellow detectives.
