The 2026 Goldrush Music Festival (\u201cMidnight Riders\u201d) concluded at Rawhide Western Town in Arizona this Saturday.<\/p>\n
Headline Planet previewed the day by highlighting acts like GRiZ, ROSSY, and Know Good as must-see attractions.<\/p>\n
To put it simply, we got this one right.<\/p>\n
In terms of the four top-billed acts (Alesso, Deadmau5, Martin Garrix, and GRiZ), GRiZ was absolutely the standout. His combination of stage command, undeniable charisma, saxophone proclivities, and general flair for navigating beats made for a set that felt sonically massive without losing its raw resonance.<\/p>\n
GRiZ has not been immune to the backlash that inevitably affects artists that hit the big time; portions of the online universe will criticize the evolution of his sets. But he made that noise look silly, delivering a Golden Gorge performance that was sincere, immersive, and unforgettable as the clock approached midnight in the desert.<\/p>\n
ROSSY opened the night at Pioneer\u2019s Peak, electrifying a constantly growing crowd with her brand of trap. Some of her attendees appeared to be there for Lady Faith\u2019s subsequent set, but her relentless energy and alluring sound surely made some believers out of them.<\/p>\n
Lady Faith, to her credit, lived up to the excitement. She attracted a major crowd, particularly for an earlier slot in the back Pioneer\u2019s Peak stage, and it is hard to imagine any walked away with regrets.<\/p>\n
Positioned against DJ Pauly D on Golden Gorge, Know Good amplified their momentum within the electronic space. Their remixes of recognizable rock and hip-hop songs scored big points with an eager crowd, winning fans (and validating Headline Planet\u2019s recommendation).<\/p>\n
Granted, those who stayed for Pauly D did see one of the most personality-rich performers on stage. His set was not without some cringe moments (doing a crowd selfie a few minutes into the set, saying his name a little too often), and it was not a masterclass in musical vision, but it\u2019s hard not to have fun watching someone so naturally, well, fun.<\/p>\n
The Saturday edition of Goldrush also offered plenty of other exciting opportunities. Although his set was not as remarkably electric as the aforementioned standouts, it\u2019s murph may have been the star attraction from a \u201cbragging right\u201d perspective. Seeing someone enjoying such a meteoric rise \u2013 in such a special venue \u2013 is the kind of thing that makes Goldrush effective.<\/p>\n
Dedicated to house and techno acts, the Hideout stage provided an intimate way to see recognziable names like Riordan, RSquared, and IDEMI.<\/p>\n
Martin Garrix closed the night on the main Golden Gorge stage. And while the superstar may not have won points for edginess at this point in his career, he most certainly won points for ending on a soaring notes. His recognizable hits, from the beloved \u201cAnimals\u201d to the vocally driven Bebe Rexha collaboration \u201cIn The Name Of Love,\u201d created the desired, transcendental feel. It ensured everyone went home happy.<\/p>\n
The Goldrush atmosphere, of course, certainly helped with that. Mirroring day one, Saturday featured easy access to food and drinks, eager attendees with memorable outfits, and a variety of fun, quirky brand activations. Dude Wipes\u2019 punny \u201cMission To Uranus\u201d stage, shaped like a Porta Potty, was one of the most visible examples.<\/p>\n
When the atmosphere and lineup hit like this, you have the recipe to continue the ascent into ubiquity.
