Millions of votes are still to be counted, but virtually all major media outlets are calling the election for incumbent President Barack Obama.<\/p>\n
Numerous swing states can be credited with securing an Obama victory, although it was the media’s call in Ohio that officially put him over the required 270. Projections currently attribute at least 303 electoral votes to Obama, and it is expected he will win several more states.<\/p>\n
