Mumford & Sons’ highly-anticipated “Babel” is dominating the album sales race, and by the time next week’s charts are published, it will own the most successful opening week of the year.<\/p>\n

Based on opening day sales, Hits Daily Double is forecasting an impressive 575-625,000 opening week copies, a tally that will easily eclipse the current high mark, which belongs to Justin Bieber.<\/p>\n

Among newcomers, Green Day’s “Uno” will follow with a decent 150-175,000 copies. The real verdict on the release strategy will of course not come until performance for “Dos” and Tre,” the remaining members of the trilogy, is calculated.<\/p>\n

No Doubt’s long-awaited comeback album “Push and Shove” will follow with an impressive 120-125,000, besting the estimated 85-95,000 sales for Lupe Fiasco’s “Food and Liquor II.”<\/p>\n
