That should be enough to squeak by the “Cruel Summer” collaborative album from acts on Kanye West’s GOOD label. Forecasts suggest a first-week total in the 170-190,000 range.<\/p>\n
The Killers will follow with new studio album “Battle Born,” which is pacing for 110-120,000. Its significant drop-off from the near-200,000 opener for 2008’s “Day & Age,” though unfortunate, is not unexpected due the brand’s profile reduction in that timespan. Lead “Day & Age” single “Human” was the only hit from that album, and “Battle Born”‘s first release “Runaways” has not taken off too briskly.<\/p>\n
