NBC’s Olympic-fueled reign of ratings dominance was over, but the second season premiere “Grimm” gave it something about which to modestly smile Monday.<\/p>\n
The premiere did not hit a ratings home run, but with a 2.0 adults 18-49 rating and 5.7 million viewers, it performed above its Friday average and gave NBC the victory at 10PM.<\/p>\n
Given the lack of competition and the possibility of a curiosity spike due to all the promotion during the Olympics, this is similarly not a wildly encouraging rating. But it is solid for NBC in a vacuum, and if “Grimm” can perform near this level for the remainder of the season, the network will likely be pleased.<\/p>\n
