Variety reports that Disney has acquired the rights to a film adaptation of &#8220;Wings&#8221; and plans to develop the film with Miley Cyrus as the lead.<\/p>\n<p>Cyrus will play Laurel, a fifteen-year-old who, having been home-schooled and sheltered her whole life, struggles to fit in at the high school.  She learns that she is indeed different&#8211;she is a fairy.<\/p>\n<p>Cyrus is currently shooting &#8220;The Last Song.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8212; Hugh Jackman has been tapped to star in upcoming comedy &#8220;Avon Man,&#8221; based on a pitch from &#8220;Hitch&#8221; writer Kevin Bisch.  Jackman plays a laid-off car salesman who succeeds as an Avon salesman.  He later brings his buddies into the makeup business in order to win a contest.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212; Working Title has confirmed that Renee Zellweger will be back for a third installment in the &#8220;Bridget Jones&#8221; franchise.
