Ratings for Saturday’s NFL Playoff games were reportedly a tad short of spectacular, but the same cannot be said for Sunday’s battle between the Tim Tebow-led Denver Broncos and the Pittsburgh Steelers.<\/p>\n

Based on the overnight metered market ratings, that compelling game, decided in overtime in favor of the underdog Broncos, was the best-performing AFC Wildcard contest in decades.<\/p>\n

That is at least the word, according to Sports Business Journal’s John Ourand, who Tweeted, “Tebow pulled in a 25.9 overnight, which would make it the best AFC Wildcard overnight since 1988.”<\/p>\n
