In an announcement many expected, ABC confirmed Thursday that the upcoming sixth season of “How To Get Away With Murder” will be its last.<\/p>\n
“This season follows Professor Annalise Keating\u2019s (Viola Davis) class through their final semester in law school \u2013 while the deception, fear and guilt binding Professor Keating to her students prove deadlier than ever,” notes ABC.<\/p>\n
The sixth and final season premieres on Thursday, September 26.<\/p>\n
While it has not been a powerhouse live+same-day performer since early in its run (ratings for its most recent season were actually on the weak side), “HTGAWM” has remained one of the buzziest network television dramas. Viola Davis’ Emmy-winning turn as Annalise Keating has also been one of television’s recent bright spots.<\/p>\n
