Hulu just revealed a handful of new cast members for its upcoming limited series “Little Fires Everywhere.”<\/p>\n
The eight-episode series welcomes Jade Pettyjohn, Jordan Elsass, Gavin Lewis, Megan Stott and Lexi Underwood to its cast. They join the previously confirmed Kerry Washington, Reese Witherspoon and Rosemarie DeWitt.<\/p>\n
Washington and Witherspoon are also executive producing the series, which is based on the 2017 book of the same name. Liz Tigelaar is on board as creator and showrunner.<\/p>\n
“Based on Celeste Ng\u2019s 2017 bestseller, Little Fires Everywhere follows the intertwined fates of the picture-perfect Richardson family and an enigmatic mother and daughter who upend their lives,” says the official logline. “The story explores the weight of secrets, the nature of art and identity, the ferocious pull of motherhood \u2013 and the danger in believing that following the rules can avert disaster.”<\/p>\n

Jade Pettyjohn as LEXIE RICHARDSON
\nShe\u2019s popular, smart, bossy, and driven. She\u2019s also determined to follow in her mother\u2019s footsteps (Reese Witherspoon). She sees things in black and white and her biggest personal hardships have been not being allowed to get her bellybutton pierced and getting a Ford Explorer that was last years\u2019 model. She has her entire future with her boyfriend, Brian, planned out. First Yale, then marriage, then settling down in Shaker just like her mother did… until her plans and sense of self are upended by a new family who moves to town. <\/p>\n
Jordan Elsass as TRIP RICHARDSON
\nA Shaker Heights high school junior, Trip is \u2018small town jock\u2019 handsome. A three-sport athlete, he\u2019s known as a player. Girls flock to him \u2013 but it\u2019s definitely for his looks, charm and charisma, not his intellect. But when he becomes involved with the daughter of Shaker Heights\u2019 new and mysterious resident, he reveals himself to be more than he first appeared.<\/p>\n
Gavin Lewis as MOODY RICHARDSON

He delves into music and literature, fashioning himself a \u2018thinker’ who\u2019s above his peers, in order to escape the reality that he doesn\u2019t fit in with them. Megan Stott as IZZY RICHARDSON
