Depending on the perspective of whom you ask, the upcoming season of “Family Guy” is either its ninth, tenth or eleventh. Either way, the show that has become FOX’s standout animated comedy–often out-rating “The Simpsons” when the NFL benefit is absent–returns for its next season on September 25.<\/p>\n

The premiere episode, entitled “Lottery Fever,” sees Peter Griffin fail to stay grounded after winning the lottery.<\/p>\n

“Peter blows his savings on lottery tickets and the family writes it off as one of his usual shenanigans until they end up millionaires. In true Griffin fashion, they can\u2019t handle the good fortune and struggle to stay grounded,” reads the release.<\/p>\n
