FOX just confirmed plans for another “Beverly Hills, 90210” reboot.<\/p>\n
This one will, however, involve many of the original cast members. It will also involve a big twist.<\/p>\n
According to FOX’s announcement, cast members Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Gabrielle Carteris, Brian Austin Green and Tori Spelling will be back for the limited series.<\/p>\n
The twist is that they will not be playing their original characters. Rather, they will be playing “heightened versions of themselves” in a new serialized drama entitled “90210.”<\/p>\n
FOX shared more details in its official press release:<\/p>\n
Having gone their separate ways since the original series ended 19 years ago, Jason, Jennie, Ian, Gabrielle, Brian and Tori reunite when one of them suggests it\u2019s time to get a \u201cBeverly Hills, 90210\u201d reboot up and running. But getting it going may make for an even more delicious soap than the reboot itself.
