Based on early data, Offset’s “Father Of 4” and Gunna’s “Drip Or Drown 2” are both in contention to rank as this week’s top new album.<\/p>\n

According to Hits Daily Double, “Father Of 4” is currently projected to shift 77-82K US consumption units during its first week of release. Pure album sales will comprise about 4-5K of those units, with the rest coming from track streams and sales.<\/p>\n

“Drip Or Drown 2” is meanwhile tracking for 75-80K in total consumption, with 2-3K coming from pure sales.<\/p>\n

Consumption determines placement on the Billboard 200, which is the definitive US album chart.<\/p>\n

While one of the aforementioned albums will rank as the week’s top newcomer, neither is expected to be the week’s overall #1 album.
