Interestingly, he was also quick to confirm that it is a possibility and that if he were to return for a match, standing opposite Punk would be a desirable scenario.<\/p>\n
Sources within WWE also view the match as a possibility, noting the idea of a “Stone Cold” return has come up in creative meetings.<\/p>\n
According to F4WOnline.com, the word is that it remains something of a longshot–no one is moving forward with the idea that it will happen.<\/p>\n
Punk, meanwhile, has said that he would like the opportunity to wrestle Austin.
