“Lose It,” which was #6 on last week’s chart, soars to #1 in conjunction with the release of Brown’s new album “Experiment.” Release week promotion included performances on last Tuesday’s “The Voice” and last Wednesday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”<\/p>\n
“Lose It,” moreover, continues to post gains at country radio.<\/p>\n
This, interestingly, is not the first time a Kane Brown song ended a record-breaking Hot Country Songs reign. Last year, Brown’s “What Ifs (featuring Lauren Alaina)” dethroned Sam Hunt’s “Body Like A Back Road,” which had ruled for a then-record 34 weeks.<\/p>\n
In addition to “Lose It” at #1 and “Meant To Be” at #2, this week’s Top 5 includes Luke Combs’ “She Got The Best Of Me” (#3), Dan + Shay’s “Tequila” (#4), and Dan + Shay’s “Speechless” (#5).<\/p>\n
