Taylor Swift and Elizabeth Arden Friday announced the release of “Wonderstruck,” a new fragrance based on a recognizable lyric from the singer-songwriter’s “Enchanted” ballad.<\/p>\n
Set for retail launch in October 2011, the perfume was created by Swift in association with Olivier Gillotin of Givaudan. The press release describes the scent as “a gourmand floral; a charming and sparkling surprise of vibrant fruits, kissed by a bouquet of soft petals and a touch of sweet indulgence.”<\/p>\n
“I wrote the lyric, ‘I’m wonderstruck, blushing all the way home,’ for the song ‘Enchanted’ about the first time you meet someone,” explained Swift. “A fragrance can help shape someone’s first impression and memory of you. It’s exciting to think that Wonderstruck will play a role in creating some of those memories.”<\/p>\n
