In late August, FOX shared a production photo from the season three premiere of “STAR.” The photo contained a very noteworthy reveal: the title character (played by Jude Demorest) is pregnant<\/a>. Questions surrounding the pregnancy — most notably, concerning the identity of the father — will take center stage as the show returns.<\/p>\n

Monday, the network issued more photos from the season premiere. It also shared a plot synopsis.<\/p>\n

“STAR picks up three months later, as Star returns home from touring, and Alex and Simone’s fates are finally answered,” says FOX. “Carlotta and Cassie’s sibling rivalry continues, as the two grapple with the aftermath of Cassie’s big mistake, and Christine (guest star Patti Labelle) is caught in the middle. When Carlotta’s back is against the wall, Midtown Sound’s strength and future is tested by Mateo Ferrera (William Levy), and Star’s big announcement leaves a lot of questions unanswered.”<\/p>\n

The season three premiere will air at 9PM ET\/PT on Wednesday, September 26. The aforementioned production photos, including another shot of the pregnant star, follow.<\/p>\n
