It, notably, earns #2 on this week’s edition of the Billboard Top Country Albums listing. Only Kenny Chesney’s new “Songs For The Saints” starts higher on that particular chart.<\/p>\n
“Lifers” meanwhile debuts at #11 on the Billboard 200. An all-genre chart, the Billboard 200 accounts for total consumption (album sales + units from track sales + units from track streams).<\/p>\n
Given that it generated the bulk of its activity on the pure album sales front, “Lifers” unsurprisingly debuts better on the Top Album Sales listing. It takes #5 on that chart, trailing only “Songs For The Saints” (#1), Halestorm’s “Vicious” (#2), Daughtry’s “Cage To Rattle” (#3), and the “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again” soundtrack (#4).<\/p>\n
“Lifers” also starts at #2 on Top Digital Albums and at #20 on the Top Vinyl Albums chart.<\/p>\n
