By the end of the week, the group’s comeback single “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” had generated enough activity to reach a new peak on the Billboard Hot 100.<\/p>\n
Up nineteen places, the song earns #63 on this week’s edition of the all-genre chart.<\/p>\n
In reaching that peak, “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” becomes the group’s highest-ranking hit (as a lead act) since 2005’s “Incomplete.” That song, which was a comeback single in its own right, peaked at #13 on the Hot 100.<\/p>\n
Since “Incomplete,” the group has only once gone higher than #63 — as a featured act on Florida Georgia Line’s #46-peaking “God, Your Mama, And Me.”<\/p>\n
While the “GMA” performance spurred gains on the consumption front, “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” is also receiving ample chart points from radio.
